Nova Rigiditas
"Push back against the age as hard as it pushes against you." - Flannery O'Conner

In an age where Catholic values are dismissed as backward and medieval, now more than ever young Catholics must unite to bolster one another in the Faith. St. Anthony Parish's young adult group, Nova Rigiditas, meets once or twice monthly on Thursdays for an evening of Holy Mass followed by a spiritually formative talk, and/or on weekends for lighthearted recreation and fellowship. Past activities include movie nights, game nights, presentations by priests, deacons, & religious, dances, bonfires, and more. The group emphasizes the beauty of the liturgy, our traditional roots, and developing an enriched understanding of our Catholic Faith.
Ages 18-35.
For more information, please contact Caeli Rose McCutchen in the parish office at 734-854-1143.
Upcoming Events:
This February, in honor of the Month of the Holy Family, St. Anthony's Young Adult Group will be doing something a little different: we have invited parishioner Paul Bowser to speak for us on family life on Thursday, February 27.
Paul is a husband and a father to 12 children who also runs a successful Men's Group at St. Stephen's in New Boston. As the leader of his own "domestic church," he has decades of personal experience under his belt to draw from when it comes to providing practical advice and spiritual insight into married life and raising a rightly ordered, God-centered family, particularly for those of us who are discerning the call to marriage.
The evening will begin with 7:00pm Mass, as always, followed by the 8:00pm presentation in Padua Hall. Refreshments provided.
